We are a specialty sales website and do not take returns or exchanges in as is the policy of most stores like ours and this extends to our internet customers as well. Here are a few of the reasons that we are not able to take returns or exchanges:
1. As for special orders, our manufacturers do not accept our returns on items unless they are damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered (i.e.: incorrect item is delivered, delivered past wear date, delivered to address other than provided at time of order, etc.). Therefore, we may only accept returns or exchanges from our customers under the same conditions. There is no refund for shipping charges, regardless of reason for return.
2. Due to limited store space as a full-service specialty store we do not have the same capacity that our manufacturers and factories do to house dresses. Each season we buy stock for our store depending on how many gowns we think we can sell that given season. Any returned gowns would have to be added to our stock in our store. (Because dresses are ordered in specific styles, sizes and colors it is very rare that another customer will want the exact dress that you did,which means we would rarely be able to sell the dress.) This would then cause our store to be overstocked and force us to raise our prices to cover losses due to returns and exchanges.
3. Some customers would want to return their gown AFTER wearing it. No one would want to buy a gown that someone has already worn and we are unable to sell used merchandise.
4. Many gowns sell out quickly and there may not be another gown available for exchange. Our return policy is very strict so that we may continue to offer you competitive prices on quality merchandise. It is your responsibility,when placing an order, to understand and abide by this policy. We take pride in offering our customers quality merchandise that is delivered as promised! We carefully inspect each item that is shipped from our store to be sure it is the style, size, and color that you ordered, free of damage or defect and will reach you before your wear date. However, if we fail to do so, we will be happy to accept your return or exchange. If this does happen, please accept our apology and notify us within 3 business days of the problem so that we can correct it for you as quickly as possible.
Q:How long does it take for me to get a refund for my return?
A: Once we receive your return we inspect to make sure the dress has not been worn, stained or damaged. Once the inspection is approved, we credit your account immediately. However, the length of time it takes to reflect on your statement varies depending on the bank.
Returns or exchanges are only accepted for incorrect (wrong style/color/size) or damaged merchandise. All return requests must be submitted to email@example.com within 3 business days of order receipt. A reply e-mail will be sent out with a return authorization number and return instructions upon approval. All packaged received without RA numbers, will not be accepted. We thoroughly inspect all orders prior to shipment to ensure all gowns arrive in proper condition. In order to ensure accurate sizing, please refer to the appropriate size chart. We recommend ordering the larger size in case the measurements point to a size in between. It is always easier to take a dress in rather than let it out.
All shipping times refer to the time it takes for the item to reach the customer from the time the item ships from us, not necessarily from the time the order is placed. We will ensure the all items reach customers before the stated “wear date”, as indicated at the time the order is placed. We will provide tracking information to the customer as soon as items leave our shipping facility.
If for any reason your dress is not available you may choose to cancel your order at absolutely no charge to you. Orders are not processed until we can confirm that we have exactly what you want and can get it to you in time for your special occasion.
LOWER PRICE GUARANTEE:
Our lower price guarantee applies to dresses available for purchase from another online store with secure online order processing at their regular price. If the dress on the site is marked as “Sale”, “Clearance”, “Special”, or other specially priced items, the guarantee does not apply. We do not honor errors on other sites. Items found on internet Auction sites are invalid. Shipping charges applied by the competitor website will also be included when we verify the price (Other sites may discount dresses and make up the difference with excessive shipping and handling fees). To verify prices we must be able to find the dress, price, and shipping and handling fees on the website.
